More Bangeroos

Ciudad de Merida – 91F/75F, Wind SW at 7mph, Humidity 84-100%, THUNDERSTORMS all day

More thunderstorms, and more getting WET.  It rained most of the day today starting this morning, and progressing through the afternoon and into the evening.  We wandered down to Cafe Creme this morning for breakfast, and ran into Jan who told us about Eric’s cafe in the first place.  After spending a pleasant morning chatting with Jan, we headed over to Cafe la Boheme for our usual espressos.  Returning home, Joel found that all of the clothes he had washed this morning and hung out to dry had become thoroughly soaked again with this morning’s thunderstorm (a second rinse courtesy of Mother Nature).  We headed over to Plaza de Santiago about 4pm to get an inexpensive dinner, and got rained upon (yet again) on the way home.  I managed to snag a few photos of our neighborhood and Plaza de Santiago in between raindrops.

Buenas noches y adios amigos
